WAREHOUSING FACILITY
AT NIGERIA
(Bonded, Non-Bonded, General & Temperature Controlled)

Dear Sir/Madam,
Members are aware that Council has been trying to establish a Common Warehousing facility at Nigeria for the last 2 years, for the benefit / convenience of exporters to Nigeria and neighbouring countries. It could not be finalized earlier as we were finding it difficult to identify a right agency who can assist Council conforming to the requirements / suggestions of members. We are now pleased to inform that Council identified a very appropriate logistic agency, namely Bollore Africa Logistics, Nigeria, who has offered a well-established warehouse facility.
About Bollore Africa Logistics:
· Part of Bollore Group, which has its presence in 99 countries with over 35700 employees
· Has most extensive integrated network in all five continents – with complete end to end logistics services
· In Nigeria, Bollore is operating since 1961, with five branches at Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Kano and Warri
· It has all facilities required for pharma sector like Controlled & non-Controlled, Post-bonded & Pre-bonded etc. and already servicing pharma sector

About Warehousing Project:
· Situated at 26, Creek Road, Lagos, Nigeria – Click here to see the MAP
· Council takes larger area on lease basis, which will be allotted to the members, in smaller areas depending upon requirement of members
· Pharmexcil provides storage facility for the goods of member companies
· Bollore Africa stores and distribute drugs & pharmaceuticals as per requirement of members
· Members can store their products in different facilities of warehouse and cater to Nigeria and other countries.
· Members are required to take some minimum space and pay monthly lease rentals, irrespective of usage of the facility.
· Bollore Africa can provide other logistic services to members, as per mutually agreed terms

Note: The above rates are only for storage facility and do not include insurance, loading & unloading labor charges, kitting/labelling / packing, applicable taxes, other logistic services etc.

· As per information, about US$ 4-5 per sq. ft. more than the above rates are charged by other standards organizations.
· Council is applying for financial assistance under MAI scheme for this project. If approved by Government, it is likely that above rates will be reduced
Implementation date:
Council is organizing IPHEX Africa during 18-20th February 2016 at Nigeria (circular for this event is under issue). It is proposed to launch Warehousing facility in Nigeria during IPHEX Africa
