We are glad to inform that Council is organizing India Pavilion at Maghreb Pharma Expo 2018 being held at Safex (Central Hall), Algiers, Algeria during 17-19^th September 2018.   Maghreb Pharma Expo is mainly focused pharmaceutical ingredients, packing material, machinery, pharmaceutical services etc.  For more details about the event, please see their websitehttps://www.easyfairs.com/maghreb-pharma-2018/maghreb-pharma-2018/

It is understood that as a Government policy of Algeria, exhibitors of regular generic formulations are not allowed to exhibit in this expo.  However, exporters of finished products who have innovative formulations to propose to Algerian market, such as biosimilars, oncology, food supplements, etc., are allowed to participate.

Algeria is the 2^nd largest pharma markets in Africa, after South Africa, with strong domestic industry for finished formulations.  We enclose herewith market report of Algeria for reference of members. 

India Pavilion:

India Pavilion is in this expo is being organized in 180 sq. meters, which is divided into 9 sq. meter stalls.   Council offers each 9 sq. meter stall at cost of Rs.1.75 lakhs independent stall.  All the stalls will be furnished with minimum furniture

Allotment of Stalls:

Members may please click on the following links to see the overall floor plan of Maghreb Pharma Expo and also India Pavilion. Members may select the stall and inform us their choice and the same will be reserved, if available.  Stalls will be allotted to the members on first-come-first-serve basis.  Members are required to make the full payment within 10 days of making reservation, failing which their reservation automatically gets cancelled.   Cancellation is not allowed once the stall is allotted. Amount paid will be forfeited.

Assistance to the participants:

Subject to the approval  and release of finances by  Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India and also other rules of MAI scheme, members whose export turnover for the previous year is less than Rs.30 crores and has one year membership with the Council, will be eligible for financial assistance to the extent of Rs. 70,000 towards travel expenses.  MAI application & claims forms.    

 Members are advised to take part in this important event in Africa. Interested members may confirm their participation immediately by selecting the stalls, on or before  15^th June 2018
