This has further reference to our earlier circular dated 7th September 2011 informing about the proposed Business Delegation to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, during 4th December - 17th December 2011.

We have been informed by our Embassy of India in Moscow, Russia that they would not be in a position to accommodate the delegation during December 2011. They have recommended that the delegation should consider organizing a BSM only during the 2012. Hence, Pharmexcil proposes to go as per the recommendations of our Mission.

However, our participation in APTEKA 2011 Exhibition at Moscow, Russia remains as per schedule. Those delegates participating in APTEKA 2011 exhibition can continue further by joining the delegation at Almaty, Kazakhstan after the exhibition.

In view of the above, Council’s delegation would now be visiting Almaty – Kazakhstan, Bishkek – Kyrgyzstan and Tashkent – Uzbekistan. The proposed delegation itinerary would be revised as follows:

The export figures of these 3(three) countries from India for the last three years are given below for your kind information and to assess the export potential in these countries.

In view of the above, we invite applications from our members to participate in this delegation. Those members who have already confirmed their participation may reconfirm their participation in view of the changes.

The Buyer-Seller meets/Delegation would be organized at Almaty – Kazakhstan, Bishkek – Kyrgyzstan and Tashkent – Uzbekistan.

Following are the points, which may please be noted:

• Cost towards Airfare would be around Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) subject to the option of Airlines & class of seat available in economy class at the time of booking of tickets and hotel charges would be around USD 100 to USD 150 per day per person on twin sharing basis.
• Members whose export turnover during previous year is less than Rs.15.00 crores are eligible for MDA subject to the other guidelines of MDA scheme.  Please refer PHARMEXCIL website www.pharmexcil.com for detailed MDA guidelines. In this case, 100% economy class excursion airfare will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum of Rs.70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand only) per company. Interested members may send their Company Profile along with the name of the delegate & other details as per DELEGATION FORM enclosed.
• Other details like venue etc will be communicated to interested members in due course.
• Members participating in this delegation may kindly note the following important information:
  • BSMs are proposed to be held at Almaty, Bishkek and Tashkent as per the advice of our Embassies in each of these countries.
  • Accommodation will be arranged by the Council on payment basis by delegates and as recommended by our Missions abroad (Hotel tariffs will be informed shortly).

The tentative programme & itinerary for the delegation would be as per the following schedule (subject to confirmation from our Missions abroad):

We now request the members to confirm your interest to participate in the event by sending the above requested information along with a non-refundable commitment/delegation fee of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only). This amount is refundable only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances or postponed at the instance of our Missions/Council.
