Subject: Opportunity for Exporting Pharmaceuticals to Myanmar
Members are kindly aware Indian pharma companies have a strong presence in Myanmar and Indian drugs are preferred for its quality at a reasonable cost. Myanmar is one of India's important destination of Pharmaceutical exports and about 40% of medicinal requirements of Myanmar are being contributed by India.
In continuation to our efforts to contribute to the requirements of Pharmaceuticals in Myanmar, Embassy of India at Myanmar shared a communication stating that Ministry of Health in Myanmar is looking for massive purchase of generics through tenders around April 2017.It was also indicated that pharmaceutical products from India may be given preference in the procurement process.
Member companies interested in supplying generic medicines/having product potential in Myanmar are requested to send their company profile (one page profile with product list and accreditations) to dgdesk@pharmexcil.com by 22nd Dec.2016.
We would be sharing more details on the product requirements and tender details on hearing from the Embassy.
