We would like to inform all our members that DGFT wide its Public Notices announced the following incentives/special benefits to the industry in addition to the existing incentives
1. Public Notice No.80 (Re2010)/2009-14 dated: 13th October 2011 on Amendments in the Reward/Incentive Schemes of Chapter 3 of FTP 2009-14:- Appendix 37A, Appendix 37C and Appendix 37D of Handbook of Procedure Vol.1
2. PUBLIC NOTICE 83 (RE2010)/2009-14 DT: 31.OCT.2011 on “Amendments in the Reward/Incentive Schemes of Chapter 3 of Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14 and Notification of Table -8 under Appendix 37D of HBP Vol.1
The following Appendix, under which few new products have been included by DGFT for Pharma industry
1) Appendix 37 D: Focus Product Scheme: Under this Scheme under Table 4: New Focus Products has been identified and included which are entitled for duty credit scrip @ 2% of FOB value of exports.
Note: Benefit applicable for Exports made with effect from 1.04.2011
2) Appendix 37 D: Focus Product Scheme: Under this Scheme under Table 8: Special Bonus Benefit @ 1% of FOB value of exports (in free foreign exchange)
Note: Benefit applicable for Exports made with effect from 1.10.2011 till 31.03.2012
We would like to draw the attention of all our members on this important public notices (links provided) and to go through the tables 4 and 8 for the listed products. In this context, we request all our member companies to suggest the list of HS codes/products for inclusion in the above tables (with specific focus to table 4), where you need/expect some support from the Government in terms of incentives/survival without losing the market/niche products to other countries.
As this is an important issue and needs to be addressed/represented to DGFT immediately, we request all our members to send their inputs/comments (with appropriate justification) on or before 04.Nov.2011.
