Dear Sir/ Madam,
Please refer to the Election Notification dated 28th March 2018. Following points may be noted:
a) Para 1: Composition of Committee of Administration: In the table, under row number 3 - Status Holders category, total number of seats was wrongly mentioned as 3 (three), which may please be read as 4 (four).
b) In Annexure I - Nomination Form: RCMC of 1st Proposer, 2nd Proposer and Contestant must be renewed up to 31st March 2018 (instead of 31st March 2019).
c) It may be clarified that any member eligible to vote can contest from any category, subject to member company's eligibility to contest from that category.
For Example: A member listed under SSI category can contest under Status Holders category, provided the member company has valid Status Holder category certificate issued by DGFT. Similarly a member listed under Non-SSI Rs. 100-500 crores Category can contest under Status Holder Rs.100-500 crores Category and vice versa.
d) As stated in the Election Notification, members listed under different categories will vote to elect members contesting from that category only i.e. members listed under Status holders Rs.100-500 crores category will vote to elect members contesting from that category only.
e) In case of SSI and LSM category members, option was already given for listing under either SSI/Non-SSI or Status Holders Category depending upon company's export values. Based on requests from members, option to choose the category is extended up to 7th April 2018.
Members can inform us their choice of listing with relevant supporting document. Ex: If a member listed under SSI-No limit wants to be listed under Status Holders - Above Rs.20 crores, they may write to us on or before 7th April 2018 along with valid Status Holders Certificate.
