According to DGFT Public Notice No. 52/2015-2020 dt. 5.1.2016 and 3/2015-2020 dt. 21.4.2016, exemption from barcoding on secondary level packing will be granted on exports to those countries where importing country has mandated or formally notified its intention to mandate  a specific track and trace system.  Pharmexcil is designated as agency for disposing off the applications from exporters for exemption, with prior approval of Government.
